The Hotel has been in existence for some 300 years starting its life as a Coaching Inn as evidenced by the high Archway for stage coaches to access the courtyard at the rear of the Hotel where the oringinal stables were which is now a large private Car Park for Hotel patrons. It is a grade II listed building but although the outside has remained unaltered the inside has been carefully modernised to bring it up to standard. All rooms are en suite. The hotel now has 16 en suite bedrooms a 50 seater restaurant and 'Neuadd Nest' a traditional Welsh styled function suite that is licenced for 400 with a 200 head seating capacity.
